Feature-packed SDKs,
secure cloud infrastructure,
fanatical support.

The AddLive platform has all the features you need to build
rich communications into your application.

ebRTC is an emerging open standard that is poised to disrupt real-time communications (RTC). It places high quality video and voice technology directly into the browser. This allows any web developer to be able to create powerful RTC web applications.

AddLive supplements WebRTC by providing support for non-WebRTC browsers, native apps and further features:

1. WebRTC cloud infrastructure

eal-time communications requires infrastructure to support multiparty conferencing, connection establishment and  firewall traversal.

AddLive provides this infrastructure as a reliable, scalable, high performance and secure service. Our servers are located in different geographies around the world, and we offer a 100% uptime SLA.

2. Support for WebRTC and non-WebRTC browsers

oogle Chrome currently and Mozilla Firefox both support WebRTC. However neither Internet Explorer nor Safari has yet stated that they will support WebRTC. Also the current and older versions of IE (10 and below), and Safari (6 and below) will never natively support WebRTC.

AddLive provides support for all major browsers. Users of non-WebRTC enabled browsers will be asked to install a small, brandable browser plugin.

3. Support for iOS and Android native apps

ative applications on iOS and Android are extremely popular. They generally provide a far smoother user experience with more powerful features. This is why YouTube, Google Maps, Facebook and many others rely predominantly on native applications on these platforms.

WebRTC by definition will not support native applications. AddLive has powerful iOS and Android WebRTC SDKs that deliver high quality audio and video to these platforms. Native apps and web apps are completely interoperable.

4. Reduced development time

ddLive allows companies to quickly deploy real-time communications with minimal development time.

Use our simple but powerful APIs or fork a ready-to-go widget on our GitHub repository. We also offer complete applications through our partner network.

5. Multiparty conferencing

any use cases require more than two people in a conversation. For example a video meeting room application or video classroom application.

WebRTC is a peer-to-peer technology. Peer-to-peer conferencing is very inefficient, requiring each participant to send video to every other participant. Using this ‘mesh topology’, quality deteriorates very quickly as more users join.

6. Screen sharing

creen sharing can be very powerful tool, and is often a pre-requisite for enterprise collaboration.

WebRTC does not currently support screen sharing. AddLive has developed optimized screen sharing technology that allows companies to easily to deploy this powerful feature.

7. Firewall traversal

trict security rules are prevalent in today’s enterprises. In order for users to communicate from behind a firewall, additional cloud infrastructure is often required.

AddLive provides this infrastructure and also uses numerous advanced traversing algorithms including HTTPS fallback with proxy support and UDP port polling.

8. Usage and quality analytics

fter deploying WebRTC it is often important to monitor the usage and the quality of the sessions. This provides visibility on usage patterns and gives important product feedback. The quality metrics that are provided assure a good user experience and allow companies to easily locate any issues that users may be having.

9. Enterprise level support

ften new technology deployments do not work as expected. Fixing code errors and maintaining the cloud infrastructure can be very costly. AddLive supplies various levels of support for our platform, ranging from Basic support to Enterprise 24/7 support.

10. Simple licensing to suit your needs
